‘Kites’ was trending on twitter on the 21st and 23rd of May, 2010.
3rd time I’m seeing a bollywood film trending on Twitter. Have there been more?
1st which I noticed was #LSDknockoffs (Hilarious takes on the title of the movie ‘Love Sex aur Dhoka’. Note this was started by some users and not the movie chaps), #MNIK. Don’t think 3 idiots trended but #AamirKhanLive which was part of pre-movie promotion for the movie did trend.
Twitter usage has exploded in India over the last 6 months….especially with all the celebrities adopting it.
Lot of personal learning’s over the last few days since I was part of the online marketing team of Kites. Will share them some time soon :-)
